I have an enclosed armoire style desk so i needed a small battery powered lamp so i don't need to plug it in. They are hard to find. This little light is a solid choice. It has a small footprint so it doesn't take up a lot of space, and it gives off a nice bright light, but not garish. it doesn't fully light my desk area because it mainly projects downward, but it's a good task light for reading or writing on my desktop. It's very modern looking, and not clunky like many desk lamps. Also, because it's an LED, the batteries seem to last pretty long.
