The shade is lovely and just what I was looking for. The base has incomplete (not smooth) joint work. Also, the white light cover of the light bulb holder is visible from most angles. I fixed the later by covering it with a piece of the practice cardboard from the wall painting technique. If this hadn't worked for me then I would have returned the product.
