I used 3 of these to replace 3 aging incandescent brass porch lights. Each old porch light used 3x60W bulbs -- so I replaced 3x180W with 3x18W for an excellent 90% energy & $ savings. However, I offset some of that savings by running them all night long for better home security. The light sensors automatically turn them on at dusk, and off at dawn. No more worries about whether sunset is at 5pm or 9pm. Oh... and they look great too!
