I purchased this chandelier after an extensive search, in which not much fit my criteria. I needed something with some size to it, and I didn't want something very contemporary, or that had leaves or was overly formal (excessive scrolling or beading falls into this category). I simply adore this piece- it is quite unlike anything you usually see in stores and it looks magnificent in my dining room. The only con I can give it is that it was a bit difficult to install, but only because it is *very* heavy.
